MEAL-4DAT helps event organizers plan meals, accept pre-orders, process payments, and manage event check-in. This policy explains what information may be collected and how it is used.

Information We Collect

• Account information, such as name, email address, phone number, and authentication provider identifiers.
• Order and reservation information, such as meal selections, quantities, event dates, donation selections, check-in status, and related notes.
• Contacts selected by organizers for invite lists, such as names, email addresses, or phone numbers, when contacts access is granted.
• Payment information needed to complete transactions. Full card numbers are handled by payment processors such as Stripe or Apple Pay and are not stored by MEAL-4DAT.
• Device and session information, such as app version, device type, installation ID, access tokens, refresh tokens, and login timestamps.
• Support communications that users or organizers choose to send.

How We Use Information

• To create and secure user accounts.
• To process meal reservations, donations, subscriptions, payments, refunds, and check-ins.
• To help event organizers estimate attendance, plan food quantities, and reduce waste.
• To help organizers build invite lists and send event links to selected contacts.
• To send transactional notices about accounts, orders, receipts, event changes, or support matters.
• To improve reliability, security, fraud prevention, and app performance.

Apple And Google Authentication

Users may sign in with Apple or Google. When a user chooses one of these providers, MEAL-4DAT receives identity information allowed by the provider and authorized by the user, such as a stable provider subject, email address, display name, and identity token. The backend verifies provider tokens before creating or updating the MEAL-4DAT account.

Sharing

Information may be shared with service providers that are necessary to operate the app, including authentication providers, payment processors, cloud hosting providers, analytics or logging services, and event organizers who need order and check-in details. MEAL-4DAT does not sell personal information.

Payments

Payment processing is handled by third-party payment providers. MEAL-4DAT may receive payment status, transaction identifiers, receipt details, refund status, and limited billing metadata, but full payment card details are handled by the payment provider.

Data Retention

Information is retained for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain accounting and event records, comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and enforce policies.

Security

MEAL-4DAT uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect user information. No internet service can guarantee complete security.

Children

MEAL-4DAT is not directed to children under 13. Users who are under the age of legal majority should use the app only with permission and supervision from a parent, guardian, or responsible adult.

User Choices

Users may request account support, correction, or deletion where available and legally permitted. Some transaction records may need to be retained for accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, or legal reasons.

Amazon Associates Disclosure

MEAL-4DAT includes a supply shop that links to event supplies (such as plates, cups, flatware, and napkins) on Amazon. 4DAT participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program. As an Amazon Associate, 4DAT earns from qualifying purchases. Using these links does not change the price you pay. MEAL-4DAT does not receive your Amazon account details or purchase contents; any purchase you make occurs on Amazon under Amazon's own terms and privacy policy.
